Founder and President- Elizabeth Tran
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Tran! The founder and President of Teens Go Green Global. Thank you for visiting our website. Teens-go-green is a non-profit organization with a mission to raise public awareness to preserve our natural resources and environment using the powers of teens. Our goal is for teens to be involved in the community and spread the message of being eco-friendly in every possible way in our daily lives!
Going green is something I was always involved with as a young kid. I love the idea "One man's trash is another man's treasure!" so I always make sure I recycle everything I can. There is so much trash in our world today, but if you think about it, more than half of it could be gone if everybody recycled or collected compost. The key is to spread the word and involve everybody we know in the green movement. Our motto is based one of John Denver's quotes, "No one person has to do it all but if each one of us follow our heart and our own inclinations we will find the small things that we can do to create a sustainable future and a healthy environment."
Through public speaking and going out to benefit other non profit organizations, I believe teens can make a difference to the world. Teens are able to make the connections with other organizations now so in the future this positive impact can be stronger and spread wider. Teens are the future, and teens have the power to choose if they want to make a change. If we start now, we can encourage others to do the same!
Currently I am National American Miss Florida Teen 2013, and I'm excited to use this opportunity to push my platform and spread my message in going green! I am also on the ECO Board at the University of Miami, the environmental branch of our Student Government. Please check the Events and Activities for all my latest updates! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to write something in the Contact Us. I hope you enjoy the website! Let me know if you want to work with me with any volunteer events! I would love to help out: email@example.com.
Co-Founder and Vice President- Alexander Tran
Welcome to our site! Congratulations on taking your first step to be involved in the community and to help to raise awareness to protect our environment which is our future. From the city beautiful Orlando in sunny Florida, I am Alexander Tran, vice president and co-founder of Teens Go Green Global. Together we are dedicated to spread the "go green" message to save our tropical rain forest, our natural habitat, our ecosystem and last but not the least our money. Green living is just a habit and a living style that we can and should all do! Please help spread the message and check out our current events.I have now started my own independent business and now have access to exclusive product line Legacy of Clean that support high performance cleaning products that are 100% organic and can help reduce your impact on the environment with biodegradable ingredients with recyclable packaging that are family friendly. To change your cleaning products to a more environmentally safe alternative visit here.
As a member of the YMCA of Central Florida swim team and Team Captain of my high school swim team, I noticed that there are many recyclable plastic bottles and cans were being trashed during a sports event. Our group has committed to set up recycle bins and collect those recyclable in as many events as we could. Please do that at your next sports event in your neighborhood. We have collected thousands of water and Gatorade bottles every time! I would also like to encourage all of you to volunteer in other community events and help out other charitable organization like American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, Give kids the World, etc and we can always spread our go green message at the events. Recently, I was awarded as the Asian American Student Achiever and I have used the opportunity to raise environmental awareness to my peers at the award dinner.
Thank you for visiting our site and I hope that you would start to go green now!
Community Board Leader-Bianca Dsilva
Hi! I'm Bianca DSilva, Community Board Leader of Teens Go Green. As the president and founder of my school's UNICEF club, I constantly witness the desire that many teens have to change the world and make a difference. I believe everyone has what it takes to fulfill a "Go Green" lifestyle, but all we need to do is give a little motivation and guidance. Teenagers in our society can make a memorable contribution to our planet through simple activities to be eco-friendly. Whether its through recycling used paper for school or helping to plant trees, everything counts, no matter how minimal it may seem.

Director of Public Relations- Michelle He
Hi, my name is Michelle He and I am the Director of Public Relations! I'm look. I'm looking forward to bringing Teens Go Green to my school and my community. I remember learning about environment and how I could play my part in conservation in elementary school. In the fifth grade, I researched alternatives to plastic bags and presented biodegradable bags made of corn and canvas bags. When I learned how much energy and pollution was created in the process of manufacturing bags, it really opened my eyes about what it takes to make everything else we take for granted. This knowledge carried on with me throughout middle school, where I gave a speech on the importance of recycling and helping the environment which placed 2nd at Regionals. Because of this, I realize how important it is to educate youth to help them mold a "green" lifestyle. With Teens Go Green we can come together and spread the word. Thanks for your interest!
